Thank you sooo much to everyone who turned up to my ‘Evening at the Races’ fundraiser which I organised last week at the marvellous ‘Queen of Bradgate’ pub in Leicester. Waiting for guests to arrive was just like when you have a birthday party at school and you fear that you have just potentially committed social suicide. Luckily, they arrived, they betted and they bid. And after a minor sound commentary issue, which resulted in me delivering my strongest audition for Channel Four racing with lines such as ‘the horses are racing as only horses can’, the night got well under way!

Altogether the night raised £3000 for Prostate Cancer UK & Movember, who I’m supporting, which means we’ve just about smashed the target we set for our charity cycle ride! Bike Ride Challenge
